Class of 1996 (Basketball) Willow scored over 1000 points in her career at HIES from her center position. She was an All-State performer and starter on the first-ever region champion team under Coach Buster Brown and a star and starter on the first Final Four team in school history. Willow led the Bears throughout her high school career (92-96) in scoring and rebounding all four years She attended Western Carolina with a full-ride scholarship. She went on to score over 1,000 points in college; often finished in the top-10 in her conference in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage.
