Alfredo Granier was a beast at HIES whether holding the bat or hurling his pitching staff on the mound. Not only did he help lead the squad to a Final Four appearance, he also batted .327 while having an amazing 0.75 ERA on the mound. He went on to play Division III baseball for five years, where he played in the national championship game. He is now a hitting coach for the Houston Astros.Â
