Wall of Fame
Class of 2008 (Baseball): Bentley was a four-year letterman and two-year captain for the HI baseball teams; he was captain of the 2007 state championship squad. Some of his many awards and records include best offensive and defensive player in 2007, two-time All-State and three-time All-Region. He still holds school records for highest career batting average and most hits. Off the field, he was involved in the men’s choir and was the lead actor in several plays. After receiving many scholarship offers, he went on to graduate from Wake Forest where he earned a BA in economics. He co-founded Siftit Inc., where he oversaw the building of revolutionary new technology products that serve restaurants. He has written three screenplays and has been a finalist in several competitions. Currently, he is preparing to produce and direct his first film beginning next month. He is also pursuing a Masters degree in fine arts in filmmaking at the State University of New York, where he has been admitted to the prestigious NYU Film School.
