Connor played the #1 singles position on the varsity tennis team all four of his years after finishing up an undefeated JV career. He went 62-1 during his tenure, while also leading the Bears to the state playoffs each season, which included an Elite 8 slot. He went on to star at UNC-Greensboro on the courts, where he played the top position there as well for most of those four years. Connor was Southern Conference Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018, was First Team All-Conference for both singles and doubles his junior and senior year, and was named UNC Greensboro’s Male Athlete of the Year his last season.Â
