Class of 2007 (Baseball). Ben was a starting pitcher for the 2007 State Champions team and is currently number one in career statistics for innings pitched at 226 innings, strike outs at 302 and strike out average per game at 9.35. In addition Ben pitched a perfect game in the Final 4 game of 2007 and ended his career with a 26-10 record. According to his coaches, Ben was absolutely instrumental in the team going to the Final 4 in 2006 and winning the state championship in 2007. Ben earned 2007 AA Player of the Year honors from the Georgia Dugout Club. Following his career at HI, Ben continued to play for Virginia Tech, the University of Georgia and in the Minor Leagues for the Seattle Mariners. Ben is the Head of North Texas Middle Market Banking with Truist in Dallas, TX. Ben and his wife, Anna, have 3 boys.
