Class of 1998 (Swimming) Morgan attended HI from 6th through 12th grade, graduating in 1998. She excelled academically, making honor roll all-four years in high school while also being a member of the National Honor Society, and a Peer Leader. She was on the Swim Team from 1994-1998, where she was chosen MVP in 1995, 1996, and 1998. Her top finishes at state meets include a fourth in the 200-meter relay and fourth in the 100-breast. Morgan also was an Academic All American all four years of high school. After high school, she continued her swimming at the University of Georgia where she helped the Dawgs win an unprecedented three National Swimming Championships. Morgan was team captain her senior, was on the SEC Scholar Athlete Roll all four years, and competed in the 2000 Olympic Trials at Indianapolis. She graduated from UGA in 2002 with a B.A. in Political Science, and earned a Master’s in Early Child Education in 2006. Morgan resides in Milwaukee, WI, and is a English Language Learners Specialist at Messmer Catholic Schools. She married David Klaus of Milwaukee.
