(Varsity Basketball Coach) Buster earned his 300th win while at HIES and led the Golden Bears to its only state title in 1999. In 32 years as coach, his record is 482-256, has 12, 20-plus win seasons and one 30-win campaign. He had 16 teams qualify for the state tournament – including 6 and counting at his current school – Lakeview. He has seven region titles, 10 sub region championships, four Final Fours and a state-finalist year to go with his title. He has earned Coach of the Year honors 10 times.
