HIES Athletes and Coaches Honored at 2024 Wall of Fame Game

On Friday, Aug. 23, the HIES community gathered at Riverwood High School for the annual Athletics Wall of Fame Ceremony! Before kickoff, those in attendance enjoyed a performance from the beloved Cheer Bears and Little Bears, who raised funds for Coins4Cure to support childhood cancer research.

At the ceremony, four of HIES's all-time best athletes and one former coach were honored at halftime and received a commemorative plaque, a replica of the one to be permanently displayed on the Wall of Fame in the Main Gym. They also were gifted a “free ticket for life” to any HIES sporting event. Below are the bios of the honorees.
