Two points! Girls' hoops topped Lovett Tuesday, led by Aaniyah Branch (14 points, 8 rebounds), Elana McMasters (13 points, 8 rebounds), Loriel Murray (12 points), and Parker Smith (9 points) …JV ended its season with a 55-41 win over Woodward last Thursday. Kimora Wynn led the scoring with 27 points… 8^th grade girls will continue tournament play Thursday at home. 
 
Three points! Boys' basketball beat Lovett 63-62 Tuesday and Washington Friday. Against Lovett, Devin Hutcherson had 23 points, 10 rebounds; Jaden McCullough added 15 points, 7 rebounds, and Kai Worthy had 10 points and 5 boards. Versus Washington, Hutcherson (24 points), Grant Heerin (14), and Cole Witzigreuter (11) starred ... JV had its season end with a 40-37 semifinal loss to Wesleyan...8^th grade had its season end in a 37-36 loss to Lovett in tournament play Wednesday…7^th grade fell 51-50 in triple overtime to GAC in tournament play Tuesday. 
 
Splash! The Aqua Bears were at the Last Chance Meet at Pace last week and had some great results.  They are now prepping for the GHSA State Meet, with the diving kicking off Saturday and the swimming events following early next week. Many individuals and relay teams have earned their bids to state. 
 
Pin! The Mat Bears will compete at Rockmart High School this weekend in the Area Traditionals, where the top placers will move on to Sectionals…MS competed in the Chattahoochee Tournament Friday; Jimi Ipaye took 3^rd, Daniel Rachelson and Wesley Logan both 5^th, and Connor Jaax placed 6^th.
