Against Lovett, Loriel Murray (18), Hailee Swain (16), Makayla Weaver (12), and Aaniyah Branch (10) starred. Versus N. Cobb, Swain and Worthy had 16 while Murray also had 16 with 16 boards.… Boys' hoops are also off to the Final Four after beating Landmark in the Sweet 16 and Hebron in the Elite 8. Against Landmark, Caleb Wilson (31 points 13 rebounds), Devin Hutcherson (23 points, 5 assists), and Jaden McCullough (17 points, 5 assists) were the stat leaders. Caleb, McCullough, Hutcherson, and Kingston Whitty starred vs. Hebron.

Track opened last week; top finishers were Edie Coil and Gavin Miles (1,600), Akeela Dover (100, 200, 400), Brayden Bailey (400), Cate Wassenaar and Xavier Dover (800), and Colt McNamara (shot put). Wednesday at Allatoona, Ethan Ganucheau (1st, 1,600), Gracie Cavallo (2nd, 1,600) Miles (4th, 1,600), Brooks Battleson (4th, pole vault), McNamara (2nd in shot, discus), and the boys' 4 x 800 relay (Henry Wood, Graham Goddard, Brent Warbington, Chase Warbington, 3rd) all starred. … MS had a Monday and Wednesday meet. Against Riverwood, Caroline Felton, Lizzy Lindner, Evie Price, and Fallon Kaufman led the scoring, Sophia Ocampo starred in goal, and Lucy Greene, Amelia Smith, and Gabby Mace excelled on "D" … Boys' lax beat Walker 12-8 led by Tuck Greene (face offs) and Henry Broos (4 goals) … JV girls fell 10-7 to Marist but rebounded to blank Riverwood Tuesday. Mary Brooks McCrystal, Lane Deriso, Caroline Newton, and Bailey Carper led vs. Marist, while Mia Sguilaro, Whitney Laundon (keepers), Lydia Gregory (defense), and Claire Cummings (offense) starred vs. Riverwood …MS girls topped Marist 17-4 Saturday. Triple! Baseball beat Decatur 9-4 Friday, lost 6-5 to Mt. Vernon Monday, and 6-5 to North Atlanta Wednesday. Taylor Fuller and J.D. Woodham each had two hits vs. Decatur; Matt Luigs drove in two. Amaree Griffin got the win. Against Mt. Vernon, Chase Anarumo had two hits, Sam Kuntz plated two. Anarumo also struck out six, Sam Holland four. Against North Atlanta, Dawson Radaszewski got three hits and Davis Harper fanned five.
Homer! JV baseball beat Pace 12-2 last week, tied Mt Vernon 2-2 Monday and fell 8-2 to Pace Tuesday. Ryan Woods had three hits in Game 1 and two each by Jude Smith and Quinn Best. Bryce Floyd fanned seven. In the second Pace contest, Robbie Chiaffredo, Smith, and Best pitched well; William Ashley, Woods, and Sam Chasteen hit well. In a Monday 2-2 tie vs. Mt. Vernon, Garrett Evans and Ashley pitched well, Ashley was 3-for-3, and Xavier Bergmann had a key hit…MS lost 10-5 to St. Pius Owen Kirkland and Henry Schreck (pitching), Zach Diamond (hitting), and Braiden Dooley and Henry Caldwell (defense) led. They lost to Wesleyan Monday and faced Dunwoody Middle Wednesday.
Tennis! Girls' tennis beat Midtown 4-1 on wins by Maia O'Leary, Ellison Losin and Lane Dougherty/Maddie Lawrence and Eliza Ambler/Ingrid van der Mandele… Boys tennis will resume after break… JV girls lost 3-2 to Hebron Monday, Alessandra Georgiev (singles) and Grayson Whitty/Caroline Davis won. They topped Whitefield 4-1 Wednesday, with Georgiev, Rylee Swain, and Auldyn Patak (singles) and Whitty/Caroline Morgan (doubles) winning … JV boys blanked Hebron 3-0 backed by wins from Alex Kessell (singles) and Bryce Smith/Aaron Beck (doubles). In a 2-1 loss to Whitefield, Smith and Beck won again.
Goal! Girls' soccer beat Alexander 2-1 last week and Wesleyan 2-1 Tuesday. Sophia Cardillo and Paige Jacquin had the goals vs. Alexander, Avery Bennett an assist and Ella Metzner, Alex Talbert, and Bev Benedict led on "D". Against Wesleyan, Colette Harwell and Jacquin scored, Bennett had an assist, and Metzner again starred in the net…JV downed Alexander 4-0 last week and Brookwood 4-1 Monday. Stars vs. Alexander were Blair Huber, Joey Goode, and Riley Shepherd. Against Brookwood, Beatrice Jones (2), Ava Ruinen, and Gailyn Walker scored.… MS played hard in a loss vs. Buford and, in a setback vs. Woodward, keeper Iris Savage (8 saves), Banks Ferrero (defense), and Meghan Hendrickson (midfield) all stepped up.
Corner! Boys' soccer fell to Westminster Friday, Pace Saturday, and Wesleyan Tuesday. Bobby Spencer, Cooper Knowles, Matthew Taylor, Thomas Miller, Mitchell Bainbridge, and Evan Wandtke starred vs. Westminster, while Jackson Mullins and Bainbridge led vs. Pace. Against Wesleyan, Andrew Altman, Sullivan Swann, and Marcos Pacheco led…JV lost to Westminster and Pace last weekend and to Brookwood Monday. Hudson Stephens, Greg Lisowski, Ray Rooker, Jones Gartland, and Cristiana Laios were the Westminster stars; Stephens, Stefano Laios, Jackson Brown, and Jules Sunkara stepped up vs. Pace. Against Brookwood, Laios, Liam Delaney, Sunkara, Andrew Altman, and Felipe Cruz stood out… MS lost to Buford Monday and to Woodward Tuesday. Buford stars were Santiago Lander, Bobby Shapiro, and Max Orzhekhovskiy, while Woodward stars were Hudson Stephens, Lander, Shapiro, Liam Montgomery, Drew Smith, and Luke Patton.
