Run! Track competed at Pace; Colt McNamara won the shot, Olivia Sharper the 300 hurdles and was 2nd in the 100-hurdles, Brendan Ganucheau took 2nd in the 110-hurdles and 4th in the 300-hurdles, the 4 X 4 boys' relays team placed 2nd (William Haas, Maxx Groover, Finn Ferrero, Phillip Griffin), Brooks Battleson 4th in the pole vault; Zion Tillis won the triple jump and was 2nd in high jump, and Andrew Forgione took 3rd in the high jump.…MS had a meet Saturday; Annabeth Champion (1st in 400, 2nd in 800), Eiden Berry (1st in high jump, 2nd in 400), and Andrew Coley (1st in shot put) were among the stars. They also competed at Westminster Wednesday, where Kynlee Swain won the high jump and was second in the long jump. Aubrey Cone, Annabeth Champion, and Will Moffat were among the top runners. 

Fore! Boys' golf played well Monday at AAC, led by Nick McKay, Logan Skaggs, and Ben Corley…JV beat Drew Charter Wednesday, led by Andrew Altman, Turner Peterson, Parker Panos, Ray Rooker, Bryce Shortt, and Hudson Downs. They took 2nd Monday, with Sammy Herd and Will Ginsberg leading. They lost by two strokes to Lovett last week, but got good play from Marshall Flack (39), Downs, Rooker, Panos, and Cole Pratt.

Birdies! Girls' golf was led by medalist Molly Spector (71) and Brooke Benedict (All-Tournament, 75) at AAC Monday. They placed 3rd at the GSGA Invitational last weekend, with Spector tied for second individually and Benedict placing in the top 15…Girls' JV fell 77-72 to Wesleyan Tuesday despite good outings by Ella Fowler and Sophie Ali-Bubriski.  

Corner kick! Girls' soccer blanked Kipp 11-0 Wednesday and Therrell 16-0 and Carver 10-0 last week. Against Therrell, scores came from Morgan and Avery Bennett (3 each), Paige Jacquin, Sydney Williams, and Margaret Cole (2 each), and Alexa Henningsen, Beatrice Jones, and Blair Huber. In the Carver win, Williams (4), Jones (2), Avery Bennett, Henningsen, Sophia Cardillo, and Morgan Bennett had the goals.

Goal kick! JV soccer fell 4-0 to North Paulding Wednesday and 2-1 to Fidelis Christian Tuesday. Elizabeth Green, Riley Shepherd, Bella Weinstein, Joey Goode, Margaret Cole, and Ava Ruinen played well vs. Paulding, while, vs. Fidelis, Katie Holland scored while Goode, Elizabeth Green and Shepherd also stood out. They tied Midtown 0-0 last week, with good play coming from Gabby Cusimano, Abby Green, and Elizabeth Green…MS lost 5-1 to Lovett Monday and 2-0 to Buford last week. Ansley Stephens had 15 saves against Lovett and 12 vs. Buford.  

Direct kick! Boys' soccer blanked Kipp Wednesday, Therrell 10-0 Tuesday and Carver 10-0 last Thursday. Against Kipp, Mitchell Bainbridge and Evan Wandtke each had three goals; Jackson Mullins had three assists. Bradlee Williams (4 goals) and both keepers – Hudson Stephens and Jackson Mullins – were among the leaders in the Therrell win. In the Carver victory, Cooper Knowles (3) and Bainbridge (2) led the scoring, Marcos Pacheco starred, and Mullins got the shutout…JV fell 3-1 to Fidelis Christian Tuesday but got good play from Liam Delaney and Mateo Garcia…MS lost 2-1 to Woodward Monday in tournament play and to Buford last week. 

Lax! Girls' lacrosse topped Woodward 13-8 Tuesday, backed by good play from Caroline Newton, Meriwether Jaax, Kate Mirgorod, Emily Gainer, C.R. Kolb, and Lydia Gregory. They lost 13-8 to Lovett last week. Sophia Campo starred in goal, Evie Price and Byrdie Chartrand led the scoring, and Mirgorod, M.K. Noble, and Lane Deriso sparked the defense…JV beat Dunwoody 8-2 Wednesday, with Mary Brooks McCrystal, Sloane Jenkins, and Sienna Shortt among the stars. They also topped Woodward 7-1 earlier in the week, backed by good play from Bailey Carper, Sophie Toledo, and Kaylee Sheats…MS girls beat St. Pius and Trinity Christian Saturday, with Nora Domani (keeper) and Yardley Jones (offense) among the stars.  

Re-lax! Boys' lax lost to Lovett in OT Tuesday. Jack Chaloupek led the offense while Braiden Lynn starred in goal. They fell 9-6 to Westminster Saturday and 9-8 in OT to Pace last Thursday. Chaloupek and Grant Henn led the scoring vs. the Cats, Tuck Greene also starred. Henry Broos led vs. Pace, Greene the faceoffs, and Lynn in goal…JV lost to Lovett Tuesday, but got good play from keeper Harrison McBrayer…MS won in overtime Saturday over Pace, Klyce Thomas, Tommy Neumann and Tuck Nowak led the offense, Ben Hoover, J.D. Brumfield, and Chip Cummings the defense, and Reed McBrayer starred in goal. 

Ad-in! Girls' tennis lost 3-2 to Walker but beat Lovett 3-1. Maia O'Leary and the duo of Hannah Johnson-Alessandra Georgiev won vs. Walker, while O'Leary, Ellison Losin and Maddie Lawrence-Auldyn Patak won against Lovett…. JV girls lost 3-2 to Hebron Wednesday but got doubles wins from Caroline Davis-Sasha Thompson and Grayson Whitty-Caroline Wakely. They lost to Whitefield Monday…Boys' tennis lost to Walker 4-1 Monday, with the team of Will Vinci-Grant Heerin taking the win. They fell to Lovett last week…JV boys topped Whitefield 3-2; wins came from Jack Stone, Mayomi Sanna, and Ayo Iyunda. They fell 3-0 to Hebron Wednesday. 

Singles! Baseball beat Milton 5-2 Wednesday behind good play from Amaree Griffin (3-for-3), and winning pitcher Chase Anarumo (6 strikeouts). They lost 8-7 to Kell Tuesday but had good hitting from Taylor Fuller (3-for-3), Griffin and Jude Smith (both 2-for-4). They blanked Washington Friday and edged Pace 5-4 Thursday on a Ryan Peckham walk off HR. Ryan Woods and Xavier Wilson both had two hits; Bryce Floyd got the win. In the Washington victory, Anarumo got the win while Fuller went 2-for-2.

Doubles! JV beat Riverwood 9-6 Wednesday, topped Whitefield 4-1 Monday and fell 7-6 and 8-5 to King's Ridge Saturday. Jake Jansen got two hits vs. Riverwood; Ryan Peckham went 3-for-3 vs. Whitefield and Kaleb Kaplan got the win. Against King's Ridge, Peckham hit well in Game 1, Gus Federico did the same in Game 2. They beat N. Atlanta 11-3; Peckham had two hits and drove in three while Gavin Evans pitched well. 

Triples! MS shutout Lovett Tuesday, backed by the pitching of Aiden Phillips, Luke Thompson, and Asher Dooley, the defense of Holder Brinson and Dooley, and great hitting by Phillips, Max Carlisle, and Brock Pumphrey. They lost 3-1 to Lakeside Monday; William Wohlers and Cooper Panos (pitching), Will Webber and Brinson (defense), and Finn Dickey and Andrew Mullins (hitting) were the stars. They fell 6-5 to St. Pius Saturday, but got good play from Mullins and Thompson (pitching), Webber (defense), and Phillips (hitting). They lost 10-5 to Campbell last week.
