Football! Football (5-0, 2-0) shutout Therrell 38-0. TD's came from two Ryan Woods to Brayden Bailey passes, two Sam Chasteen runs, and a Woods toss to Brody Fernandez. Mitchell Bainbridge added a field goal. Defensively, Jude Smith recovered a fumble, while Preston Massie, Bennett Burroughs, Ryder Ripps, and Bailey were other stars. Burroughs also excelled at returning punts… MS Gold Squad lost to Mt. Pisgah Wednesday, but got good play from Harvey Barry, Henry McDavid, and Jack Mondelli. Another MS team lost 14-12 to GAC last week. Max Carlisle and Whitney Peterson had rushing TD's; Charlie Williamson and Ross Shaw led the defense. 
 
Run! Cross country was at Wingfoot Saturday. Varsity standouts included Harris Bradford, Daniel Hill, and Bobby Spencer for the boys, and Edie Coil, Beatrice Jones, and Laney Kate Miller for the girls. Sloan Hodgson and Thomas Stotts both were impressive in the JV slate…MS also raced at Wingfoot Saturday. Will Moffat was a star for the boys, breaking 12 minutes in the 3K. The girls were also impressive, taking third against stellar competition. Top finishers were Mimi Knowles (5^th), Annabeth Champion, and Maeve Nannings. 
 
Base hit! Softball was rained out Monday and lost 9-4 to Temple Wednesday in region play…MS topped Wesleyan Monday, backed by homers from Maddy Porter and Allison Camp, pitching from Hensley Litchman, and the defensive play of Lyla Williamson. They lost to Whitefield 9-1 last week despite good play from Holland Osby and Catie Wohlers.
 
Spike! Volleyball swept North Atlanta Tuesday 3-0, backed by Vandy Neymeyer (serving), Harley Ward (passing), and Auldyn Patak and Ashley Wilson (net play) …JV beat North Atlanta 2-1 Tuesday; Kynlee Swain and Perry Langer both starred…8^th grade  went down in two sets to Woodward and Sutton Wednesday. They lost 2-0 to St. Pius and 2-1 vs. Sutton Monday. Standouts were Ella Stephenson, Emily Mills, and Mary Brooks Massie. They swept Whitefield last week, led by Brynn Sheppard, Addison Miller, Ellie Paige Laundon, and Aubrie Bush…7^th grade swept Woodward 2-0 and beat Sutton 2-1 Wednesday. They fell to Pius and Sutton Monday, despite a good team effort, and also played well in a blemish against Whitefield last week. 
 
Fore! Middle School boys' golf lost to Carrollton last Thursday. Parker Rivera, Nick Rescigno, Beau Brinson, and Redding Catone all played well. The girls also fell to Carrollton, despite a solid round from Mia Flower with a 52. 
 
Ad-in! Middle School tennis teams faced Pace Tuesday. The boys fell 4-1 but got a #2 doubles win from Carter Noel and George Glenn. The girls lost 3-2; Madilyn Lucas won in singles as did the team of Caroline Lerner and Hollis Litchman. Both squads lost to Westminster by 4-1 scores last week. Madilyn Lucas won in singles for the girls while the duo of Glenn/Noel won for the boys.
