They topped Pace 3-0, with great play by Kynlee Swain, Perry Lager, and Savannah Reid…8^th grade lost 2-0 to North Cobb Christian Tuesday but beat Westminster 2-0 last Thursday. Stars vs. Westminster were Ella Stephenson, Kiran Meese, and Aubrey Bush…7^th grade fell 2-0 to North Cobb Tuesday and lost to Westminster last week despite one of the best team efforts of the season. 
 
Touchdown! Football (4-0) beat Haralson County 42-9. Sam Chasteen scored four touchdowns, Brayden Bailey two. Preston Massie had a sack, Ryder Ripps recovered a fumble, and the offensive and defensive lines were more than impressive…JV lost 21-0 to Marist last Thursday. Towns Mooney, Strickland Bloomston, and Jack Lewis led the defense. Offensively, Colin Horne moved the ball both running and throwing and Beckett Talbert played well at tight end. Ninth grade squad topped ELCA 22-6 Monday. Wesley Logan and Jahmai Porter had rushing touchdowns and Ben Hoover scored on a pass from Sam Griffin. Defensively, Jax Fountain led the way with several sacks and forced fumbles. 
 
 
Base hit! Softball fell 8-1 at Haralson County Tuesday and lost to Wesleyan Monday. Against Haralson, Asher Gleeson went 3-for-3, while Katie Holland was 2-for-4. In the Wesleyan blemish. Holland starred in the infield and outfield vs. Wesleyan; Gleeson pitched a great game… MS shutout GAC 12-0 Wednesday. Hensley Lichtman and Maddy Porter combined for the shutout, Allison Camp and Ceci Gunnels paced the offense, and Dallas Rhino and Ava Marshall speared the defense. 
 
 
Run! Cross country competed in Carrollton Saturday. Harris Bradford finished 8^th overall, while Brayden Briles, Matthew George, Gavin Campos, and Connor Jaax rounded out our top five. For the girls, Ellison Losin, Laney Kate Miller, Edie Coil, Sloane Hodgson, Madison Angell, and Emma Boeschen all stepped up…MS opened its season at home Saturday with Woodward. All competed in a mile run on the track due to weather conditions.
 
 
Aces! Middle School tennis girls' and boys' lost by identical 3-2 scores to Lovett Tuesday. Sam Schrum and the team of Owen Jacquin/George Glenn won for the boys, while Madilyn Lucas and Dolly Esdale had singles wins for the girls. They fell to Wesleyan last Thursday – the girls 4-1 and the boys 5-0. Lucas took the victory for the girls. 
 
Fore! Boys' Middle School golf beat Campbell Tuesday by 26 strokes, led by Nick Rescigno, Parker Rivera, Beau Brinson, and Hunter Kies. They will be in action again today (Thursday) at Sunset Hills Country Club in Carrollton.
