Ad in! Girls' tennis advanced to the Sweet 16 with a 3-0 win over Whitefield Tuesday, backed by singles wins from Rylee Swain and Maia O'Leary and the doubles team of Maddie Lawrence and Auldyn Patak. They beat Midtown to end regular season last week, with victories coming from O'Leary, Ellison Losin, and Lawrence/Patak. 
 
Ad out! Boys' tennis also advanced to the Sweet 16 Tuesday; they topped King's Ridge 3-1. Jay McKown and the duos of Daniel Bealle/Charlie Northcutt and Will Vinci/Grant Herrin got it done. They ended regular season with a 4-1 loss to AIS last week, with McKown taking the singles win. 
 
Goal! Girls' soccer will begin postseason action today (Thursday) at home vs. Prince Avenue Christian. They advance as region runners-up.…Boys' soccer beat Paideia 2-1 last Thursday on goals by Chris Cardillo and Bradlee Williams, on assists from Sairis Panah and Hudson Stephens. Marcos Pacheco, Thomas Miller, and keeper Jackson Mullins also starred. Their advance after winning the region; postseason begins Friday, also at home against Christian Heritage. 
 
Triples! Baseball will begin the state playoffs Friday at home in a best two-of-three against Savannah Country Day. They ended the regular season as region champs after sweeping Lovett last week 5-3 and 12-2. Taylor Fuller, Bryce Floyd, and Grant Bradley are three of many who have starred thus far. 
 
Run! The track team will compete in the Area Meet Friday at Trinity Christian, where the top eight in each event will advance to Sectionals, slated Saturday, May 2nd, also at Trinity Christian. Colt McNamara goes in as the defending state champ in the shot put, while Brayden Bailey, Olivia Sharper and many others also have great chances to move on. 
 
Lax! Girls' lacrosse lost to Marietta Tuesday 14-6; Fallon Kaufman scored three goals, while Evie Price, Rio Tomosunas, and Ireland Padgett stood out defensively. They fell to Westminster last week, despite good play from Mia Sguilara, Kate Mirgorod, and Temma Hoffenberg. Meriwether Jaax, Jackson Dillon, Price, and Byrdie Chartrand scored the goals …MS lost 10-9 to Wesleyan last Thursday; keeper Nora Domani had seven saves. Their season ended Saturday with a 9-7 loss to Pace in tournament play. Props to the entire 8th grade class for their great efforts before moving on. 
 
Re-lax! Boys' lax lost 9-7 to Fellowship Christian 9-7 Monday on Senior Night. Upperclassmen Matt Neumann, Henry Broos, and Tate Voigt were three of many who contributed. Other standouts were Dallas Strickland, Jack Pileggi, Tyler Levitt, Braiden Lynn, and Bennett Burroughs. They edged Whitefield 6-4 last week; Jack Pileggi and Strickland anchored the defense, Lynn starred in goal, and Tommy McLeod and Grant Henn were solid offensively…MS fell 6-4 to Blessed Trinity and 7-4 to North Oconee Saturday, but got great efforts from this very young team. They will end their season Saturday against North Oconee and Eagles Landing Christian.   
 
Fore! Boys' golf took third at the Georgia PGA tournament Monday and Tuesday. Sammy Herd (1-under), Logan Skaggs, Matt Binney, Will Ginsberg, and James Carper provided great support.…Varsity girls were idle, but will begin postseason next week, as will the boys… JV boys ended its season with a win over Wesleyan, led by Andrew Altman (40), Ray Rooker, Hudson Downs, and Strickland Bloomston (43's), Turner Peterson, and Cole Pratt.
