Junior Chris Binney was a state-qualifier for the Aqua Bears in the relays last year. After an excellent season in cross country this fall, he appears on track to make the state pool in both the 50- and the 100-free. “His work and commitment, and leading-by-example, could lead the team to its highest placing in state ever this year,” Coach Kristina Nesbitt said. Academically, he takes more than a full load – with AP classes and no free periods.
