This is Coach Armijo's first year as a coach for the varsity track & field team. Specializing in pole vault, long jump, high jump, and hurdles, he has a passion for multi-events, in which he competed in college. An Academic and Athletic All-American in the Decathlon in college, he graduated from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL. He studied Science (pre-med), but found himself in film school at FSU. Today Coach Phil is a professional actor for film and television, consultant, and entrepreneur. Phil still holds many of his Kansas high school records in football, TRACK & FIELD TRIM LINE diving, and track.
