Adrienne Rowe is a native of New England and moved to Atlanta in 2008. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, she has been teaching for 17 years and is currently in her 3rd year at HIES. She joined HIES in 2018 as the Junior Class Dean and is now serving as the Dean of the Class of 2020. In addition to her role as Dean, she teaches Ancient World History, serves as the advisor to the HI Chapter of the National Honor Society and as the Middle School Girls’ Lacrosse Coach. Adrienne moved to Atlanta in 2008, and in the years that followed, she taught at Dunwoody High School and worked closely with parents and the community to help solidify the girls’ lacrosse program in DeKalb County Schools. After serving as Varsity Head Coach at Dunwoody for five years, she brings her experience on and off the field to the HIES and is excited to start her fourth season with the program.
