Christina Nichols – Junior Varsity Head Volleyball Coach
Coach Nichols is starting her second year at HIES as an Upper School Math Teacher
and Head JV Volleyball Coach. Growing up in Florida, she started playing volleyball at
a young age and continued throughout high school. She also played 5 years of club
volleyball for Orlando Volleyball Academy (now Orlando Tampa Volleyball Academy).
Christina earned her bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and her master’s
degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During graduate school, she
served as the Assistant Coach for the JV Volleyball Team at East Chapel Hill High
School. Coach Nichols is excited to be joining the HIES family!
