Female Athlete of the Week
 
The State Swim Meet starts Tuesday, and it won't be without Golden Bear Lucy Greene, who will once again be competing in a lot of events. Just last week, Lucy solidified her place in postseason with impressive wins in both the 50- and 100-free, both events she will be swimming this week. She will also be busy in the relays as our Aqua Bears season ends.
 
Male Athlete of the Week
 
There's a saying in sports – it's not how you start it's how you finish. Apparently, wrestler Will Vinci took that saying to heart this past weekend at the Regional Traditionals. Competing against a wrestler that had beaten him twice this season, Will came out on top – literally – in winning the regional title and moving on to Sectionals, slated this weekend.
