Holy Innocents' Episcopal School Athletics

Coach Joseph Thomas joined Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School in 2013 and was named head track and field coach in 2021. He also teaches lower school physical education.

During his time at HIES, Coach Thomas has led the track and field program to a boys state championship and previously guided athletes to state titles and multiple school records while serving as the throws coach.

Prior to HIES, Coach Thomas worked at Athens Academy and also serves as a varsity football linebackers coach and special teams coordinator in the fall.

Coach Thomas attended the University of Georgia, where he played football, and is a member of the athletics Hall of Fame at Greater Atlanta Christian School.
