Coach Mavity graduated from Davidson College with a BA in Hispanic Studies. She earned her MA degree in Spanish Literature from the University of Georgia, and her EdS in Secondary Spanish Education from Augusta University. While this is Meg's first year teaching at HIES, it is her sixth year teaching secondary Spanish. Priory to joining the Golden Bears, Meg taught at Monsignor Donovan Catholic High School, Westside Middle, and Decatur High School. Coach Mavity coached cross-country at Marist School (her alma mater) and at Monsignor Donovan Catholic High School prior to coaching at Holy Innocents'.Â
