Nick Perrotta – Varsity Defensive Coordinator
 
Coach Perrotta is entering his first year at Holy Innocents’. This will be his first year
as Defensive Coordinator and he will coach the Defensive Backs.
 
Prior to arriving at Holy Innocents’, he spent 2 seasons Coaching at Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA. In two seasons at Washington & Lee, Perrotta assisted in the improvement of the General's Defense from the top 100 in Rush Defense, Team Sacks, and Total TFL’s to being inside of the top 50 including the #25 Rush Defense in Division III in 2019. This performance led to Four All-Conference selections on the Defensive line. 
Perrotta joined the W&L staff after serving as an intern and defensive graduate assistant at Kennesaw State University following a playing career with the Owls.  He helped lead KSU to a 12-2 season during the 2017 campaign, which ended in the quarterfinals of the FCS playoffs. In 2017, Nick worked with the Safeties and Sam Linebackers under Defensive Coordinator Brian Newberry. During his time with the Owls, KSU clinched the first ever Big South Conference Championship in school history and made it to the round of 16 in the Division I Football Championship Playoffs, all in just the 3rd season in program history. In his time with the Owls, KSU finished as the #12 Total Defense in the FCS, #2 in Interceptions, #3 in Turnover’s Gained, #7 in Scoring Defense and #12 in Rush Defense. 
Perrotta was a three-year member of the Kennesaw State football team, playing all 22 games at defensive line over his final two seasons.  He tallied 35 tackles, 3.0 sacks. two interceptions and one defensive TD across his junior and senior seasons.  Perrotta earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Kennesaw State University in 2017 and a Master of Science in Sport Administration from Arkansas State University in 2019.
