HIES Athletics Content Team
Interested in sports photography, videography, graphic design, social media, or just finding a new way to get involved with HIES Athletics?
The HIES Athletics Content Team gives students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience creating content alongside the HIES Athletics communications staff. Whether you're picking up a camera for the first time or already have experience creating sports content, our goal is to help you continue developing your skills while telling the stories of our teams and student-athletes.
Learn by Doing
Content Team members have opportunities to photograph games, shoot video, create graphics, develop social content, and explore other areas of sports media.
New creators will typically start by covering middle school or JV events, where they can gain experience and receive feedback before moving into varsity assignments. As you grow, so do the opportunities.
We're not just looking for the person who can take the best photo. Reliability, creativity, professionalism, coachability, and being a good teammate all matter.

Any HIES student interested in creating content for Athletics should start by reviewing the HIES Athletics Content Team Guidelines.
After reviewing the guidelines, reach out to Coach Ammons or Coach Mills to set up a quick meeting. All students must meet with Coach Ammons and/or Coach Mills before receiving a HIES Athletics media credential.
